Structure of the College Association

Subject-Specific Associations

An individual association is formed for each optional subject offered in the B.Ed. program, such as Tamil, English, Mathematics, Science, History, etc. These associations serve as platforms for subject-related activities and collaborative learning among students.

Leadership Roles

  • President- The staff member in charge of the optional subject acts as the *ex-officio President* of the association, providing guidance and ensuring the smooth functioning of activities.

  • Secretary- A student from the concerned optional subject is elected as the *Secretary* of the association.

  • The Secretary represents the group in college-wide meetings and acts as a liaison between the association members and the faculty.

Membership

All students enrolled in a particular optional subject automatically become members of the corresponding association.
